I'm 54 years young and planning on living to at least 125. I'm a teacher that loooooooooooves her job. I get up each morning excited to go and play with the kids all day.
MY major goal in life is to feel good and have fun, that's why I am the Cheshire Cat.

Our financial goals are.
-Charging only in rare occasions.
-only buy what we need or really really really want.
-be a conscience spender
-stay within our budget but be flexible too.
-know where "almost' all our money goes
-keep our emergency fund of $3,000.

-Retirement doing great
-kids done with schooling and weddings.
-mortgage under $55,000 at 4.78% will be paid off before I retire.

Week by Week

Just thought I would share how we do our money week by week.

Every Friday when my dh gets paid I take out $400 for that week. We start our week on Friday, because we like to have lots of money to spend on the weekend then scrimp during the week. AND when that money is gone, we only take more money out if we really really really need something. I know this might not be strict enough for most but it has got us out of debt .

We do this a little similar. Paid twice a month, $700 each time. This covers grocery, gas, other spending. Thanks for sharing!!
